Investing in a worker-focused platform that democratizes access to work for [underserved communities] required partnering with a tech services firm that is sensitive to the subtleties of user experience design, understands co-ops, and provides excellence of technical implementation to produce a reliable, secure, and scalable web app that meets the needs of the community.
Colab Cooperative was the only qualified choice for this work given the unique intersection of skillsets required, and they did great work that will benefit low-income workers and support our mission to fight poverty through the development of a more equitable cooperative economy.
